Valenti vs GCS 4th Brake Light

Hey guys,

I'm looking into getting an upgraded 4th Brake Light for my '16 FRS. So far I've kind of narrowed it down to the GCS and Valenti options (Haven't decided on variant yet). I was just curious if there was enough difference between the two to justify paying double for the Valenti light? I've done some searching and I can't find to much info on the GCS brand.

For those of you that have either, is there a difference in quality or functionality? Ease of installation? I'd greatly appreciate your input!

My wife and I both have Valenti tails and fourth brake lights and have been very pleased with them. Worth every penny, IMO.

Depending on how detail oriented you are, you may have a hard time matching the GCS light with another aftermarket brand should you go with different taillights as well.

Yea eventually I will swap them out, I'll probably end up going for the Valenti tail lights. Only reason I really bring this up is because my girlfriend is buying them for me and I didn't to ask for the more expensive ones if there was only a marginal difference between the two.

Thanks for the link man, about $30 cheaper! That might be the deciding factor.

What color Valenti's do you guys think looks best on a Red FRS?

I went with CR (clear red?). White during the day, red at night, clear housing.

But then again my wheels are hyper silver and my emblems are chrome. In my opinion the red valentis are too much on a red car. And the black would probably be preferable if your wheels and badges are black.

Personally, I think the FT86SpeedFactory Edition Valenti Lights would look best. Clear lens, black housing, red LED bar. Or the Black & Gold Edition with the smoked lens.

All I know is that I regret not getting the smoked one. I hate how the clear housing looks in the bumper. I'll have to get it tinted

Thanks for the pics! What do you mean white during the day/red at night? Also what kind of spoiler is that?
