Welcome to the board, Charlie. Hope you get your hands on a twin soon (i.e persuade Ed to buy one!).

I'm not comfortable pinching the struts to fit. At this point I can make shims (which wouldn't be legal) or reinstall oem strut with the Eibach springs.

Thanks I sent Lee a message earlier.

I've seen this on a few different struts, typically just tighten the bolts. It's no big deal.

My car got hit last week and I've been looking at what's for sale around here just in case it gets totaled and man it's a lot rougher than you'd expect to find a nice one that doesn't have a >$18k sticker or a bunch of parts you've got to get rid of/replace. Good luck to the guys shopping right now especially around here. Travel may save you a thousand bucks or two when it's all said and done, but I'm sure y'all know already.

I got my immaculate 2013 with 34,000 miles for $15.5K. One owner, every service record, window sticker etc. It took a while to find it though as, as you say, 95% of the cars out there are total crap.

Tell me about it. Most used FRS I have seen so far are either modified or/and were crashed multiple times.

I was surprised at how many had an accident on record when I started looking a month ago. I ended up finding a 2016 that was still 'new' on the lot (700 km on it from a demo drive) and went that route.

Been looking for a banana turd, they're holding strong around the 18-20k range. Will probably pull the trigger next year if I like the SSC co-drive.

I'm pretty confident it will so I'm fine sitting it out until 2019.

For those who installed the SSC kit do you have a bit of forward rake? Car looks much better lowered but the front seems a little lower than the rear. On my car floor to pinch weld is about 5” up front and 5 3/8” in the rear. Not a big deal if that’s how it’s supposed to be but wanted to hear if anyone else is seeing the same.

BTW, welcome Charlie. Ed will be co-driving my car at the next AAS weekend. If you want to give it a try let me know and we can get you some time in the car.

Yes you will have forward rake right after install. I installed the kit on Fri and the rear has settled (guessing) 1/4". There was so much rake that I had to double check the spring's part #. All photos I've seen online of the prokit springs have a negative rake. Not sure if the Koni struts/shocks are causing a height difference.

They are Koni's... I think you're expecting too much. Every Koni damper that I've ever touched has left me feeling a bit dirty and sad.

Anyone have a scan of the supplied dynograph?

I did not see a dyno graph with my SSC Koni's. Are we supposed to get one with them?
