@lazyluka nailed it, so thanks for the math fix, my friend. Wanted to smack myself for the way I set it up at first, it sent the temps in the complete opposite direction. Parentheses are powerful little things.

So yet another interesting thing. I had to pair my OBD2 dongle all over again, and when I did everything reverted back to Celsius. When I set it back to Fahrenheit, the reading for the oil temp was all crazy again. Went back to the AC-40 format and now the app converts it to Fahrenheit like it does with all the other built in gauges.
Also glad I did this because now I see just how long it takes, even on a mild summer day, for oil temp to get to 200 degrees. I had to have been halfway through my work commute (about 10 of 20 miles) before it was finally up there. Have to make sure I'm nicer to the car longer before I start pushing it now that I know it can take a while to heat the oil. Winter is going to be interesting.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction to getting torque to display boost. I tried the default boost and vacuum reading but it only seems to display vacuum. I can see others have got it working just not sure how.

I bought the BAFX OBD adapter on Amazon and tested it on both ends of my OBD splitter and it works perfectly. But I also have insurance from Metromile and they require me to plug a device in the OBD to read my mileage each month. Once they're both plugged into the splitter I get problems with the OBD adapter and some functions not working on Torque app. Any solutions?

Just wanted to share this in case anyone needed a daylight readable setting, since it took me awhile to figure out:
I picked one of the transparent themes, navigated to .torque/themeDir in the sd sd card and changed the following values in properties.txt #make axes white displayTickColour=#FFFFFF #make value text red displayTextValueColour=#FF0000 #Make all text light light gray displayTextTitleColour=#DDDDDD #Make RPM's Red graphLineColour_0c=#FF0000 #make boost black graphLineColour_ff1202=#000000 #make afr black graphLineColour_ff1249=#000000 |

Can anyone help me out on how to get torque to display information quicker? There's about a second lag. I'm using obd link mx for a Bluetooth output and Samsung 7" tablet with torque pro.

From using Torque on the past few cars I've owned, that's pretty normal when it comes to Bluetooth adapters, it's just not as fast as a wired connection.

I was gonna go through the whole thread but it felt like I was reading a review about the Nexus 7.
Does this app work on most devices? I got a old Galaxy A3... Wondering if itll work.. Also, did anyone have trouble reading anything from a device while driving?
