That's true. I actually have a master list that I have yet to post here but the numbers are:

10 Series: 2000 TOTAL (North America)
.HyperBlue: 500 for USA, 100 for Canada, 50 for Australia = 650 TOTAL
.Yellow: 500 for USA, Unknown # for Canada = 500+ TOTAL
RS 2.0: 850 for USA, 150 for Canada = 1000 TOTAL

So far Series.Yellow is the "unicorn color" between the twins since we don't know Canada's number (it's most likely less than 100).

The rare colors are cool but I don't know how I'll feel about them when these cars age. The Miata (NA,NB especially) was also a car that has a bunch of special edition colors but when I see those particular Miatas I see them as "just another clean Miata."

Honestly I'm more wowed by a special edition color when the car is significantly modified and that's coming from someone who keeps their HyperBlue stock (I'd keep any BRZ pretty muchstock btw regardless of edition.)

That's an Evo8 right? I thought you had a regular trim Lancer?

I'm kind of the same way when it comes to Monograms. I know it's not technically a special edition, but I always love seeing a clean, modified Monogram. What's crazy is that there are like 3 in town not including mine. I guess I'm not a special snowflake after all.

Silver Ignition (10 Series) was offered on all of Scion's cars at the time.

I meant more specifically to the 86 model. I wasn't sure if it was offered in Japan or anywhere other than North America.

Only the FR-S got that color, not the BRZ. It was exclusive to North America and some Central American/Caribbean countries.

It is. Other than the wider fenders mine was body kitted to look like an 8. We didn't get Evos in Canada until the X so I faked it. Yes I was a ricer!

That was what was said on one of the actual Subaru press releases.

Don't forget Japan got their yellow more early too. Both the RS1.0 yellow and series yellow yellow.

Agreed, I think the yellow looks a lot better on the 86 compared to the BRZ.

I have ALWAYS wanted a yellow Twin. Lovely. Sad I missed the original TRD release edition.

It looks so nice.
