^My dad also commented how he always wanted a 240Z growing up and my BRZ reminded him of it.

I love my FR-S to death and i would never replace it with anything else but i would agree that a true sports car only comes with 2 seats that's why i called my FR-S a sporty car and not a sports car.

Gorgeous....Love the S30's
edit: Since when does how many seats a car COMES with defines what the car was built for? Your car doesn't have a full roll cage with a fire extinguisher strapped to the rear where the seats used to be... nope.. not a sports car. |

This whole sports cars only have 2 seats thing doesn't make a shred of sense to me.
Poor 911 and GTR owners |

Actually if you want to be technical, a "true sports car" has to be a roadster.

As a former Lotus owner, if your car has a cup holder, it's not a sports car.
Sorry, that's just how it is.

I only read a few pages but they didn't seem to be bashing too much aside from a few. A lot of the seem to get the point of our cars and others just see POWAAAAAAA...

Its how people will react once their cars are no longer under the spot light, where tuners and buyers are no longer interested. The attention is going to our cars like it or not, dont get me wrong the Z is a nice car but honestly how many have you seen where it makes you want to buy it. The FRS/BRZ will be under the spotlight for years to come, i see alot of tuners going to be focusing on these cars now than any other cars.. just like when the EVOs and STIs were the kings of the tuning scene being an EVO owner from the past and friends with guys who went from the EVO to better things like GTRs, 911 GT3s and AMG black series.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDW0ZnZxjn4&feature=player_embedded"]You Lose! Good Day Sir! - YouTube[/ame] Being a 240Z owner and having driven a 370Z and an FR-S, I can say I was more than disappointed with the 370Z, especially considering I wanted one from the moment I first saw one, but waited 3 years to finally drive it.

I went and test drove a 370z the other day as I was getting impatient and thinking of bailing on getting an FR-S. Here are my thoughts: The interior on the base model I drove was comparable to an FR-S (I've driven two btw), transmission on the Z was worse, the engine sounded bad and although a good amount faster than an FRS, still felt quite slow to me. Seating position and overall ergonomics were much worse than the FR-S. The overall handling and balance feel on the FR-S blows the Z away. In conclusion the FR-S is slower but I had infinitely more fun driving it

Whether or not a car has back seats or is a convertible or not have nothing to do with it being a sports car.
