Preemptive post for trolls

Question:
Why did it get 5 stars when most categories were less?
Answer:
  1. The categories were not all weighted the same.
  2. Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

it's funny that across the pond, the toyota gets the luxury and the BRZ is "skeletal".

How would driving with people in the rear upset the balance of a car with 55F/45R distribution? That sounds ridiculous.

Although the Autocar boys appear to have done a fine job with the road rest I think they need to check they're info on this little article in the same issue...

Only 86 to be built? I don't think so!

A price of £24000? When a regular GT86 in the UK costs £25000. I don't think so!

What didn't they like about the low rev torque? That it practically peaks at daily driving revs?

What a great write-up. I really like the layout of this article. It had a really nice mix of photos, text, and graphics. I wish the articles in American car mags were laid out more like that.

Thanks a lot for posting it.

Change the tires for GT86 and it does drive faster than GTI... But that's not the point tho...

Very nice article, and very positive. I think my point of view is very similar than theirs!

How come the gti is 10 seconds quicker in the wet than in the dry? The weight and hp is more or less the same as the gt86. It's front wheel drive so it should understeer and have some torque steer. It's strange that it's so much quicker. Nice article however, every reviewer is lyrical about this car.
