Good read. Thanks for posting!

So if they're on the metric system why is fuel economy rated in MPG and how on earth do they come to those figures?
|
If I recall they still use some of the english measuring systems. Distance is still calculated in miles on many occasions. I was surprised when i first started watching top gear many years ago and they were talking about miles and yards and feet.
|
So, could someone make a PDF of this for print? I'd like to plaster it around work for the Nissan guys to have a look at... :p

Dat wet lap time, wtf lol

Nice and a little more positive than Evo's review

Very cool article. It seems as if the top speed is aerodynamically limited, only @6k rpms when it hits their claimed top speed of 140mph.

We still use MPH, and road signs etc are in miles/yards but many other things like buying furniture or carpets is metric. All food and drink weights/volumes are metric, unless you're in the pub when you're beer will still come in pints! But if you order a bottle of beer that will be metric!!! It can be confusing to say the least. You also have to look out for 0-60 times measured in UK mags. Sometimes they are 0-62MPH as this is 0-100Km/h. The general measure of a cars emissions (used to calculate road tax and company car tax here) is used across mainland Europe (metric only remember) so is calculated by CO2/Km. The reason our MPG figures look different to US MPG is because a US gallon is a different size to a UK gallon. 1UK gallon = 1.2 US gallons. |
I want the center console since it has the emergency break on what would be my passenger side. Wonder how much that setup would run and if the linkage would need to be replaced or just moved over. Going to have to look into this! You Euro guys help me out!:happy0180:
