2016 Brz daytime running lights - condensation / moisture

Hey everyone
Just recently bought a 2016 Brz and since the first rain (2 months ago) there has been moisture in my running lights... Ive contacted my dealer and they say its normal and if I wanted they could drill holes in the back to let them drain...... really????

Anyways has anyone else gotten this issue? found a fix? found good aftermarket repacements?

Any input would be appreciated

I too have experienced this from time to time. I tried checking the connections to the back of the strip and found no solution. I haven't been able to replicate it for the techs at the dealership either. They won't take my pictures as validation, unfortunately. Luckily, I haven't had any of the LEDs go out.

At least yours appear to dry, considering you cant replicate it.
mine have remained like this since i bought the car. kinda silly....

Use a heat gun to heat up the adhesive and remove the lense. Use new silicone glue to reseal.

Do not do this!!! This will not fix the issue!!!

zzzz I decided to take a look into the issue a bit further, turns out the special people of subaru decided to just have a wire go through a rubber boot, its literally open at the back, enough for it to condensate but not enough for it to dry.... that explains why they said its normal, because they literally cant fix it.

Gotcha gotcha. It's pretty dry here in my region of Texas, so that may be why mine are dry at the moment. Though, in February and March I had condensation just about every other day in the morning. It would be dried out by the evening, though. I hope you find a fix man. Good luck!

Maybe get some silicone gasket maker and seal it up yourself?
Just a little sounds like it would work.

Mine did that, I just got the JDM bezels and cut those bitches out ✌️
