Yup. Even a clear protector will lead to serious heat buildup and cracked housings.

I've seen it. It's definitely a concern but stock headlights are cheap on eBay

Yeah. Since I took it off. its not much different in terms of visibility. and I 100% miss it. mt next track event I am putting them back on since I have a whole Roll of them. and when I took off the Tint the headlight underneath where brand new so protection is amazing.

For anyone wondering it took 2x 12"x24" sheets to do the headlights I bought the foglights precut and 1x 6"x12" for the driving lights
