@balci

In the US we have small claims court where it is very easy to file a lawsuit, get a court date and eventually a judgement for something like this amount of damage. I hope in Norway you have a similar means.

"could the tire shop have fucked my car up?"

Well, the local tire shop fucked my wheels up, and that's with them not even on the car, so yeah, I'd say it's VERY possible that the shop fucked your car up.

It's generally a good idea to read all the posts/responses in a thread before posting one of your own.

It's quite simple, the damage wasn't there before he brought it in, it's there after. Why post on here?

Yes, very. You're all talking camera and other BS. Why? That put's the ball in the court of the shop. He's the customer. The shop damaged it. The shop say's no. Just threaten or take the shop and owner to small claims court. You guys make a simple thing difficult.

Go back and re-read the original post. He's asking if this type of damage can be caused by a lift. I think it's pretty clear that he's aware that the damage was not previously there.

Regarding "small claims court", legal things like that might be different since he is located in Norway.

thanks for the replies. been pretty busy with work lately, but i'll go back in a few days. if they can't spare the time to watch a 20 minute cctv clip after a week I wouldn't expect they're taking me seriously anyways.

Sorry to hear, dealership did the same thing on both sides of my fiesta ST, on more than one occasion, lazy/oblivious techs not spinning the lift pads down.

I read the post fine the first time.

I used Small Claims court as a generalisation, I don't know if they have that in Norway either but i'm sure they have an equivalent.
