GTA Tire Shop
Hey guys,
I was hoping to pick up a set of stock sized PSS and was wondering if you guys had any shop recommendations. Looking to get the tires for a decent price and do the install there too preferably. I'm headed to the states in a month so buying and installing there is possible but I wanted to give some local shops and crack first to see if it's in the same price range. What part of town are you in? I bought same at Steelcase Tire in April for a competitive price and good service.

I used to always go to Tires 23
However since I live in Woodbridge now, I'm going to try WheelsCo once i need tires.

Tires23 and Steelcase were both great for me.

Give a Akii Tire a try.
He's a little guy just starting up his business. He does a lot of specialty stuff and stretching that most shops won't do which means he really knows what he's doing. What I really like is that he works on appointment only. I got my wheels mounted at 11pm one night. Drop him a message. https://www.facebook.com/AkiiTire?fref=ts |

I too default to Tires23. They seem to always have the best price.

Thanks for the input everyone, I will give some of these shops a call. I tried Costco today since they are one of the few that are open on a Sunday but they are back ordered and according to them they don't have a date from Michelin on then they will receive more tires. I buy that rationale since Tirerack is back ordered on our stock size as well.
With that in mind has anyone had a bad experience with 225 tires on our stock wheels here? I'm not running too much more power than stock and know 215 PSS would be more than plenty to handle it but if they aren't available I would consider going to a slightly wider tire if it's more readily available even if I don't like how it pokes out over the wheel as long as it doesn't affect performance. Thanks again the help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm actually looking and swapping rubber to 225. It will fit just fine on our stock wheels and there is more tire selection in that diameter. Your speedo will be slightly off at 225/45, but it will be a very small difference.

Thanks for the input, maybe I'll consider that as well? Any rationale behind going 225 other than having more tread on the road? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Mostly its to have more tread on the road. I also think the tires would look a tiny bit beefier on the rims.
