Thanks. So the extra long red wire on the third brake light to be tapped into the brake light wire of the valenti tail lights? But is that going to make the triangle light up as well? What about the strobing brake light? Cause those two I don't want.

Option 3 is exactly what I'm looking for, but the light is already installed. I'm not willing to take it out again, or open the box. I don't have a soldering iron nor have I ever soldered anything in my life. So that DIY is kinda useless to me, unless I can achieve the result of the soldering using wire splicers (which I've also never used).

My understanding of the complaint was that with everything turned off hot air still blows in when moving. To stop that you simply put it on recirculate and it closes the outside ducts greatly reducing the air flow.

I didn't watch the video. If there soldering is on the board then you can't splice it. If it's on a wire, you can use a wire splice.

True...I just can't imagine sitting in an already hot vehicle with zero airflow at all, and I'm personally not much of a window opener unless it's necessary. At least with the vents open you've got air movement while you're moving, even if it's the same hot air you're sitting in.

I did misunderstand what you were getting at with the recirc button application (I know, not the first, certainly won't be the last so long as you still post here for others to read, lol), mainly because I was approaching it from what I normally set the car up to do, and for whatever reason this car just doesn't like to provide cool air that isn't artificially made so. My old Corolla wasn't this bad, but on the flip side the 86 apparently has a "Hell" setting on the dial, which is not unwelcome when winter rolls around. The Corolla was not nearly as good with the heat.

I run most of the spring and fall with just the damned hot air blowing through those vents when the fan is off and the car is moving. Never had a car that heated the ambient air through the vets like this does.
I miss the good old days where there were better options for outside air.

The Valenti is not set up to be plug and play on our side of the world. Looks like you have some choices to make:

1. Find a friend locally that does have soldering skills to help you out.
2. Learn to solder yourself. TIP-practice on old junk electronics, cleanliness and proper amount of heat is key to good solder joints.
