How could that work, points-wise? As long as I take at least third each day, even if Todd wins, I'm still going to have more points than anyone.

Going to install the wider wheels/tires net net be same as the current stock setup on 215 Azenis+. May take the passenger side seat before weighing again (corner balance/align). Vorshlag and MCS has been great to deal with. Spoke with Greg, R888R not listed in rule is OK for 4 points like rest of 100wear tires as RE71R is on national back order. Anyone in Mid Atlantic coming out at VIR next month? Lutfy

Ugh...I'm not feeling so confident. My best out there last weekend was in the low 12s IIRC. What did you manage?
Shall we start the trash talking now?

2:11.1 was my fastest on my dead RE71R's. I've got a new set of RS4's a ncoming. We'll see how fast or slow they are soon.

![]() I dont know how quick the RE71Rs are myself (havent run them), but you can expect grip levels similar to nitto NT01 with the RS4, so probably not too far behind (at least should be better than heat cycled stones). |

Re71R are faster than the NT01. They run good till the cords (both tires). Had the RS4 on an e36 (students car) and the grip is not comparable. Will wait for feedback as well. For the same points I went with R888r as Re71 are on backorder. Will report the same the following weekend (testing) at Summit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Spent a good bit of time over the weekend dialing in the car.
Height 13.5 front and rear. Front camber -2.7, rear -2.2 0 toe. Lots of corner entry understeer (slow speeds), high speeds the car had corner entry understeer with corner exit oversteer under throttle. Toodled around a fair bit with the dampers and later on threw the rear wing. It MAKES a difference for sure (need front end grip desperately, be putting the front splitter this weekend). Even with the skinny 215 street tires, was able to clock 1:29:4 which is a full second faster over stock suspension. Tire temps clearly showed f and r outside tires almost 20 degrees higher!! What are you all running for camber and height? Am thinking of dropping to 13 inch f and r (to maximize rear camber as I dont have the control arms) and dialing the front up to -3.2 Lastly whats the take on running E85? Any issues on track? Have read fuel starvation. Car needs power now. Min required hp is 180whp and I am at 164 currently. First time event VIR in 2 weeks. Be running 255 R888R then. Lutfy PS: BIG THANKS to Edgar Morales of Group E Motorsport (TTC contender) for the build out/data/track support.

Yes, High Plains. My 13 has a set of MCS coilovers, GC camber plates, 17x9 RPF1's, DTC 60 F/XP8 R pads and 245/40/17 RE71R's. Best time run on that setup was a 2:08.x last fall. Timed with my Traqmate.

Hey Trippin', I watched your video. Thanks for posting.
My car has AP Sprint with DTC60s, T2s and Maxxis RC1s. I'm not happy with the T2s, though. I think I should go with something a bit softer than the 400 pound springs. And I think I want springs that are stiffer in the rear than the front. |

Nice! Thanks for sharing setup and results. Sounds similar to the STX-prepped car I followed last week. That was my first time at the track, so I'm feeling pretty good about 11's.
