I had this on my car from the dealer, it's ugly but instead of peeling it off, I vinyl'd over it and it retained it's design but is now a sleek black.

Don't have a good pic and it's raining outside so this will have to do for now.

Lol zombie thread.

On a related note, my car came with one and I promptly peeled the abomination off the same day; makes a nice drink coaster now.

Holy shit I'm glad this thread was necro'ed. This was on my car when I bought it used and for the 8 months I've had it I had no idea it was a sticker. Promptly removing it tomorrow.

LOL I wouldn't have made it off the lot without seeing if it was a sticker. It would have been handed to the sales person as I got into the car.

I bought my BRZ and it has it on there. I would like to remove it. Is there a good way do do it without wreaking the paint?

I just did mine. Heat the glue up (I used a hairdryer in my friend's garage), and get something under it to start it. I pried it up with a butter knife wrapped in a microfiber towel. Be prepared to scrub a lot of sticky crap off of your fuel door though. Took me about an hour with rubbing alcohol and a sticky remover (I guess that sticker has been on for about 4 years so it was a lot of scrubbing)

As soon as I get home I'll put a couple pics up before/after. I promise I didn't butterknife my paint.
