Probably the last pics of my engine bay as I know it prior to installing the red '17 manifold, Velox fuel rails and brackets.

That looks awesome. I keep mine fairly clean, but that's on a whole different level...damn.

You have yourself a great looking engine bay Sir! Takes great pride in your ride to keep up with all the details that aren't necessarily often seen.

I hate it I when I go to car shows (especially high-end ones) and people are showing their rides with the hood down...it is kind of like the guy at the gym that wears sweat pants to hide his stick legs so no one will see them..

If you're showing and don't have much done to the engine bay... at least clean it. I hate seeing dirty vehicles at shows.

Keep up that bay! It will set you apart from most others at shows... if that is your thing...

I'm sure there are those that do it for that reason but from my experiences they either have nothing done they feel is worth showing, its dirty, or both.

I enjoy looking a clean cars at show... that includes the engine bay.

I'm usually never far from my 86 so at the spectator's request I'll drop the hood.

LOL Mine is a year round (Canadian winter) daily driver. My engine bay looks like a dust storm hit it. You would be appalled.
