this is what you need, plug and play, hell of a lot cheaper than OEM one.
if you go to somewhere like Phatt Audio in Braeside vic, Northfield car audio in QLD or FHRX in Syd, any of them will be able to fit it so it looks good and hidden, and probably for a lot less than what you will pay from Toyota..
Doesnt installing it from an aftermarket service void the warranty on the car?

What fleet discount? There's no fleet on the 86 regardless of company.

I think his comparison if he doesn't pay GST is a little silly. Must be looking at salary sacrifice documents.

Quoted price was 37.700 approx for the car including stamp duty, rego etc, then take of GST due to the salary packaging.

You can negotiate the price on a new car, what it say's on the website is not always what you have to pay.

I do have the quote, i wont post it up on a public forum though.

The only way i would see an issue would be if they installed it badly and caused rust in the body work etc, which would be from bad installation.

Either of those three audio shops i mentioned would warranty their work, and they are the best in Aust
Phatt audio built Eclipses demo/show car and know the product exceptionally well. (they also used to sponsor me and the only people i trust with my car in Vic)

Never salary packaged a car before?

You can get fleet and dealer discounts, GST savings, etc. Even if there is no fleet discount (Toyota do fleet discount ), dealer discounts are still good.

I saved about $30k off retail price on my last Toyota Prado.

30k sounds excessive to me.
*Is this savings include gst , interest deduction from taxable income. Please share

How did you manage that.

I think you're on the money there with salary sacrificing. And even then $30k seems a bit of an exaggeration. Plus, factor in the usual number fudge from the novated leasing numbers provided by said fleet company.

Huge fleet discount, good dealer discount, a crap load less LCT and GST, free extras. When the car retails for ~100k drive away, it's not hard to make huge savings. Call a novated lease mob and get a quote. Nothing is secret.

Lease savings is completely different to vehicle price.

Holden, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi all do good fleet discount. Honda don't do any fleet discount.
