Haha! In all fairness I don't know if the ones on the car or knockoffs or just shoddy quality since they look like 1st gen's but the majority of the lights are out (only 3 work on the left side, while on the right all but 3 work)...
Wish there was an easy fix but per a number of posts here it seems like the only surefire way to fix them would be to cut into the back of the light re-solder the connections and cross your fingers that they remain that way ![]() (Andddd the only reason I haven't done that is that I don't have another set of taillights in case something goes wrong during the fix...) |

Stock tails sell for pretty cheap so keep an eye out. I bought a set in perfect condition for $50.

You're right about that! One of the first things I did was get rid of these awful stock tails and swapped them with smoked Valentis. The stock tail lights are much better on the new 86/BRZ though.

BRZ Yellow Special Rdition. At 9 miles I sent the car out to Crawford and Put a turbo, intercooler, full 3" Perrin exhaust and lots of other things they recommended It was Dyno tuned (Ecutek) and runs like a rocket. The only Thing that sucks is the cheap ass radio and the trapezoid hole it's in. I am replacing The unit with A Kenwood DNS893S and a 2017 Toyota86 dash fascia which has a rectangular opening Last edited by 007BRZ; 06-22-2017 at 11:39 PM. Reason: More info |
