Here ya go
Obviously I have no rear interior, so you get clean looks at mount locations and plate sizes. Ignore the harness routing in that last picture, but it will give you an idea of seat / headrest/ hoop clearance. Seat is all the way back.

Hats off to GSpeed - the roll bar fits well, the welds are clean (not art quality, but not amateur either), and the camburg couplers between main hoop and down bars worked like a charm. I'm sure they're plenty strong.

Trent and Chris at GSpeed are great to deal with as well by the way. Top notch service regardless of whether you're the guy like me outfitting a track toy BRZ on that level budget or one of the Corvette Z0-Monsters they build ! Post sales support is great as well - they were more than happy to answer all of my questions related to harness routing. Thanks GSpeed!

Install guide

Sorry that took some time. Been dealing with some surprise family health issues. Good to see that someone was able to get some pictures up before me.

Hokay so.

Comes nicely wrapped.

The feet dimensions are approximately 6 inches x 4.5 inches, not including the two diagonal edge cuts. The size of the main mounting feet was my primary concern before buying this bar, since it's bolting straight to the relatively thin/weak floorpan. But after a lot of research, I decided that these are at least sufficiently sized to serve the purpose here. Properly welded-in bars are still going to be stronger than this, but I don't think a roll over will produce the infamous mustang poke-through.

This is what the camburg coupler looks like. Very cool.

One of the rear backing plates (drivers side I believe) has a slight bend in it to fit properly in the wheel well

It's a slight pain to get it all in the car. The rear hoop is easy enough but the main hoop requires a bit of experimentation. What worked for me is through the passenger side door. Do be careful to not break a window or leave a dent. I was close more times than I like to remember.

Once you get it all in and positioned properly (having someone else to install this with could have lowered my blood pressure by at least 50), attaching the camburg couplers is the real test of success.

This is approximately where the main hoop feet will rest

This is the final placement of the roll bar inside the car. Even without bolting the bar to the car, the bar would hardly budge.

Fast forward a few days and here is the final install

There were a few hiccups along the way, but I suppose that is to be expected. For one, GSpeed sent the wrong size bolts. They were too short and so that cost me a few hours of frustration trying to figure out why nothing would fit. But I spoke to Chris (Excellent customer support rep as Joesurf said) and we agreed that I would go buy my own bolts and GSpeed would reimburse me.

Another issue was that since I had no completed install to reference, I had no idea where the placement of the feet should be (other than where they landed naturally). So that required sending GSpeed a few pictures and having them confirm before I went and poked holes in the car. But, this shouldn't be a problem for you since there are now at least two people that have done the install here.

I removed the rear seat back because, although the bar would have fit with the seat back in place, there was no way anyone could sit in it. Also, it couldn't be folded down either, so it was completely useless. You can see in the picture that I kept the bottom seats, since this gives me a good place to put stuff.

You can reattach the side panels if you want. I think GSpeed's pictures of their completed install shows them reinstalled, but it looks like a pain to cut around the bar, especially in the C-pillar corner. But, after driving the car around for a month now, I'm considering it. It sounds like a window is open all the time. If you're driving around alone, just turn the music up. If you're trying to get your wife to go with you, she might not like it because it's difficult to have a conversation at highway speeds (which could end up in your favor on certain days ).

I think that covers all of the main points. I have a few more pictures I haven't uploaded, so if you want to see anything else in detail, just let me know. All in all, this bar gets a 4.5/5. If I could do it all over again, I would definitely still order this one. A huge thanks again to GSpeed for developing this! This is the perfect roll bar for people, like myself, who want a safe car on the track without completely ruining all daily driving capabilities.

Again, let me know if you have any questions or need specific pictures.

For me, the seat back is good and light sound deadening for long road trips.

I hear ya, no pun intended . But with a 4.56 final drive, all urethane bushing possible, stiff suspension, and re71rs /r888s if I have to drive this thing more than 30 minutes (IE on the way to the track), I'm putting in foam ear plugs...anything else, I'm taking my old Chevy Silverado- which is more comfy on Houston roads anyway haha!

I don't think they check the forums much anymore. I would email sales @GSpeed.com without the space.

After some research on this bolt-in, I would like to hear from those that still have this product after having it installed years ago. I'm potentially looking to buy this for my tS for autox/HDPE. Also, I'm curious on how much it affects your daily driving if you still use it for that purpose.
