I also have the G27 and picked up a Cross Hair Converter on Amazon so I can still use it along with the shifter and pedals. I haven't used it yet, but reviews say it works well.

When I was younger my dad got me into the GranTurismo series and I played from GT2 up until 5 I believe was the last one on the PS3, when I switched platforms to the Xbox 360 and got Forza 4 I was blown out of the water, I have high hopes for Forza 7 and for the playstyle I enjoy Forza has always delivered.

I've always found Forza to be more appealing since there is far more customization in terms of appearance. I've owned and played both series (GT5 & GT6) but I've been hooked on Forza since 3. While I thoroughly enjoy GT, I couldn't get passed the hallow thud noises of crashes and the lack of damage. Petty, maybe, but instead of just my time being penalized, it would have been nice to have felt the effects of damage to the car.

I'm a fan of Gran Turismo...hardcore fan.

But I admit...I've been wanting to play Forza since it looks like more fun. But i don't have a Xbox and my PC is no where close enough to handle PC gaming to today's standards.

So I'm stuck with Gran Turismo....the only thing I'm hoping for is a lot of offline races since I don't pay for that Playstation subscription to play online and it seems as if they want to make half the game online which is a shame.

Rabbit holes are a hell of a thing.. a drug almost.

So it starts with Forza 7 - initial excitement until I realize that MS has displayed little info on VR for XBOX one X and FM7 will continue using the terrible Hopper system

Then I get into looking at the other franchises and I see Project Cars 2 will natively support VR on PC (oh my!)..

Then I realize I'm in the market for a new lap top.

Then I realize that the 2017 HP Spectre X360 Kaby Lake has Thunderbolt 3 and supports eGPUs.

Then I see that I can use a Razer CORE with a GTX1080 making my laptop into a hardcore PC Gaming setup that will support damn near any game and VR.

THEN! I realize my Logitech G27 setup for my XBOX is also compatible with PC gaming.

Get me off this train.

If you play GT as much as I used to (meaning almost everyday) that VR headset can't be good for your eyes.

I was looking into the Xbox one X for Forza 7, but it is coming with HDR for pc. I have two 1080s, no brainer. I have a PS4 Pro too, so I will get both and play them for about 5 minutes before I have to cook dinner for my kid or study for exams. Adulting.....

When this thread was first posted I would have said FM7, but I've been playing Horizon 3 for the past couple of weeks. Between the glitchy AI, spending a few hours troubleshooting achievements that won't pop, and Turn 10 "gifting" me a car that I can't drive unless I buy a $10 expansion pack; I'm thinking GTS may be the better option.

Back from the dead...

If anyone is planning on getting Froza 7, It's gonna be a 100GB game at launch, make sure you have the space/bandwidth.

@x808drifter - thanks for the heads up. Time to hook up an external drive to the xBox.

I always enjoyed the modding of GT back in the day. Always did stage 1-3 weight reduction as my first mod. Have been PC gamer for 6ish years now so really only have project Cars but wish they would port over GT for the modding options.

Can't believe this is even a thread,

if you actually look into what GT Sport has to offer it's literally a joke. they removed the GT Mode which every GT fan played the game for. You cant start a race with a mini cooper and grind to your favorite car and save credits etc etc. Games a huge disappointment imo.
