FORZA 7 VS GRAN TURISMO SPORT
 

So they just announced the new Forza 7 for Xbone One and the new Gran Turismo Sport for PS4 which one are you going to get?

personally I am a Xbox guy and probably will be upgrading to the new Xbox One S and guess i gotta get a new 4k tv also lol technology!!

I'd choose Forza over it's Gran Turismo equivalent any day. I played GT5 on the PS3 back in the day and it was really disappointing.

I've got a PS4 pro with 4K tv. My choice is gran turismo naturally.

Have they made the G27 work with the ps4 yet? That new $800 thrusmaster wheel doesn't have a shifter...

It doesn't... BUT G29 can & it is half of Thrustmaster price & you can get shifter.

Does Sony even make a 4K TV fast enough for gaming? I know for sure mine isn't and I have to go back to my old 720p XBR for gaming.

GT died long ago for me. The last exciting version was GT4 and I've played all six.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Gts, forza doesn't compare to the gran turismo series.

GTS all the way baby. Forza physics models in the past have been inferior to GT or Iracing. You also can't count out project cars 2 which has potential.

Yeah but they nickel and dime you at every chance.
Iracing = over $100 a year subscription
Only includes the base cars and tracks, if you want more/new cars or different tracks prepare to folk over $.

Iracing is the most greedy game I have ever seen.

The GT Vs FM is stupid as most folks have either/or system and not often both. I've liked both but for the last several years only had the xbox 360/one. FM had some big deltas such as the physics in FM4 were very good and FM5 was not then FM6 was great once you've figured out how to dial out the inherent lift-throttle-oversteer.

The problem I'm having with the FM franchise is that after FM4 they did away with the custom public lobbies with admin and went to the hopper system which is GARBAGE and has essentially ruined the entire experience for me. All I want to do is race quality ABC class cars with some good settings with no silly leaderboard cars.

Since it sounds like FM7 will continue this garbage hopper system, it will be giving it a pass and I will keep my fingers crossed that project cars 2 is good. Also, I like to play casually. iRacing is appealing, however I have the real thing in my garage so when I want to take it seriously and spend the $$$, I'll just go play with that.

Does 4K tv matter? Cuz GTS can hook it up in PS VR & play.
