They will sell them all. The people that will buy them just don't hang out here.

Got my Series.Yellow $2800 below sticker last week. Use the Costco price then grind further. I'm sure I left money on the table.

What makes this car so good is the performance at a really good price. The prices on these special additions for mostly cosmetic stuff take the car into a higher league of cars. Sure if you mod yourself you could spend as much, but then you get the fun of modding at least. Plus you would get wheels you really want.
And don't think these things will be collector cars. |

I stand corrected! MOST of them do not hang out here. There are actually a few that are interested. The ones that had realistic expectations that is. The guys thinking it was going to be a supercar at a bargain price are the ones that are bitter about it.

Motoring.com.au said the thing was going to be built on an exposed carbon fiber chassis and have pushrod front suspension, and it doesn't. That's it, I'm not going to buy one now.

Me too. I was all set to get into a 2017 PP, my dealer actually told me a few months back to wait for a 2018 because he was told something different would be available. Since I don't need the car anytime soon anyway, this works out great. I am really looking forward to getting back into a BRZ, and this one fits the bill perfectly for me and will spend most of its like at the track... although I am not sold on the wing yet. Have to see it in person, might do a truck swap.

Whoever in this thread said $32,000-34,000 was just throwing out a figure. We have no comment from Subaru on what it will cost.
But, given that MSRP for a Limited model with the Performance Package is a touch over $30,000 (if you include Destination charge) that 32-34k figure is probably not far off. My guess is around $32,000, or roughly $2000 more than the Performance Package.

Not really that shocking, Series.Yellow and Series.Hyperblue were both limited to 500 units, Series.Blue slightly more I believe.

They also promised turbo and AWD. How could Subaru turn around and instead give us what is essentially a Series.Fast and Furious?
