Only on the spacers that don't attach to the hubs with lug nuts, aka shim spacers.

Just bought a 17 BRZ with performance package. The wheels are 17x7.5 +48 offset vs the 17x7 +48 on the regular wheels.

I am looking to run spacers but am having a hard time deciding between sizes. I don't want any poke at all if possible. I was thinking 10 up front and 20 in the rear???

Since the wheels are .5" wider they will already stick 6.35mm further out. My question is since the tire size has not changed should I really worry about the extra 6.35mm? And what size spacers should I go with?

Dont do slip on spacers in that size, no bueno. Anything above a 15mm go with a bolt on spacer. So, go with bolt on in the size you want and no need for extended lugs.

I would do 20mm front and 25mm rear, bolt on. 10mm would be to small and you would need extended lugs.

When I look on Amazon, all the 20mm bolt on spacers say they do not work with the stock wheels, but here I see a load of pictures with stock wheels.

I'm looking to use these with my stock wheels...

The reason certain 20mm spacers do not fit is because the cavity design on the hub side of the OEM wheels. The cavity is shaped in a way that the nut that comes with the spacer will not fit in the cavity.

There is a couple things you can do. One is look for a bolt on spacer that uses a flat nut with dimpled key. Another is to bore out the cavity in the wheel to fit the nut.

Check out the vender section and anyone that sells spacers have all been tested to fit. Also Perrin, Ichiba, Project Kics, and Eibach are good.

You could also just go with 25mm and be done with it.

Thanks - I checked out all those. All were more than I wanted to spend and all were out of stock anyway. I was hoping some of the cheap Amazon ones would work, but I guess not.

25mm might be a bit much up front, but I'll take another look at some photos. Thanks for your help.

Yeah all those I suggested are a bit on the high side but they work.

I have 25mm all around and they are awesome. I bought them from amazon too.

I have 20/25mm spacers from Corner3Motorsports. The lugs do stick through the 20mm spacers a bit, but as soon as you start to torque the wheel everything lines up. They've held up just fine for two years.

Those would work. Do they damage the ends of the stock lugs at all, as I would still need to go back to them for autocross where the spacers are not legal?

No they don't. The OEM wheel has pockets in the back, so there's space. The corner of the lug nut just barely touches the edge of the pocket, but it's not enough to cause any damage. It's just enough to keep the wheel from seating properly with zero effort, but like I said, as soon as you start torquing the wheel down everything sits flush.

Make sure when you install spacers that you torque them just like you would the wheel. Same value, same pattern.
