also keep in mind, certain colour cars go well with certain colour wheels. Think about that before you make your decision.

And some colours work better in certain areas. I would not own a black or dark car in Florida or a white car in places where it snows a lot (hard enough to see them without seasonal camouflage).

I have a hot lava, but asphalt is by far the best color to me. The problem with hot lava is that while it definitely pops like no other color, orange has very limited options for accent colors. You can go orange and black, orange and white,if you are a Bears or Broncos fan, orange and blue, and that's about it. If you get an asphalt, you can pick any color wheels or whatever, and it'll still look good.

Oddly enough, black is my favorite car color, but it really doesn't do anything for this car.I've seen only two or three white cars in my life that I thought that they looked awesome. The twins weren't either of those cars.I HATE white cars.

Well, that narrows it down to the special edition colours then. BRZ yellow and GT86 Orange. Or yuzu yellow for a used FR-S. The silver and white special editions don't really stand out from the rest enough (to me) to be uncommon colours.

You're right certain colours work better in certain areas/countries. Also the health of a country has a massive influence on car colours. When the country is upbeat you will see brighter colours, when a country is subdued you will lots of silvers and blacks.

Then you get the strange, in South Korea lots of silvers and white as they're cheaper to insure, see a red car in Seoul is like seeing colour in Wizard of Oz..

Asphalt matches the OE wheels spectacularly, I'm 50-50 on compliments for this car with half being "looks nice/sportscar/etc." and "I like the wheels and they match the cars paint"

I can't even fathom why someone would feel compelled to seek approval from strangers on the internet for the color of car they are buying. Unless you are forced to buy the car sight unseen, how can you possibly not make this decision on your own???
