Sign up for autocross school. If it's a good one you'll get plenty of spin practice INTENTIONAL and UNINTENTIONAL. Can confirm: no damage from spins except for some egos hahaha

And I thought I was paranoid. If you hit nothing, you didn't accumulate any damage. If you want to be sure, jack the car up and take a look under the car.

If you're even more paranoid, take it to a shop and ask if there is anything wrong with it.

Honestly though, don't worry about it, our cars can take a beating.

Since they salt the roads in Michigan I'd check for paint chips next time you are under the car. Speaking from experience with having a Subaru rear subframe rot out on me, and my own gravel adventures in the frs. Though I was going significantly faster and forwards at the time, so results may differ.

Other than some touch up, if that, car should be fine.

You know, that's a really good point.

You see ...... it a generational thing.

Some are used to instant gratification and when they don't see a post appear instantly ...... they figure it didn't catch so, they punch the button again.

Some older folks, feel that the faster and more often you punch the button ..... the faster it will upload and post.

Even older folks remember using the old telephones where you cranked a little handle to ring up the other party ....... the harder you cranked it, the better chance the signal made it through the lines to the bell on the other end.

Get the picture ......

Everyone's done it. Accidental double click? Page hangs? I don't know either.

I had similar issue when I first got mine 3yrs ago but this was during fresh layer of rain water on road. I just dropped tire pressure from 35 to about 30ish for tiny bit of more grip and drove slower. Hasn't happened again...or I think it did but I wasn't scared when it occurred.

Just drive safe and make good choices. No problems then.

Yep, it's a good idea to learn where the limits of the car are.

Nannies didn't save me from a 30mph hydroplane spin out.

I was speaking in general terms about leaving the nannies engaged.

If I hydroplaned and spun out at 30 mph, I'd be checking my tires .....

Like hunfrz mentioned, Do check your tires. Also, our twins are known to go sideways a lot. While they are very controllable, they also tend to slide, especially on Michelin primacys. Better and bigger tires will change that. I'm still running primacies and I find myself every now and then kicking the back out on left turns (on purpose) but sometimes when it's raining hard outside, I tend to drive slower than others to stay safe.

Wait till you drive this car in winter (going sideways uphill, not enough clearance, back wants to always slide on you) and that's with winter tires , This car will teach you how to drive.

Sometimes after a big crazy spin, or donuts, the engine stalls. I think it's a safety feature that stops the engine in case of an accident. It happened to me once after a donut, and I was totally freaked out because the engine won't start after that. 5 minutes later the engine finally started.
So if that ever happen to you don't get too worried

Hahaha... you 'accidentally' had the traction control off and 'accidentally' did a spin?

Clearly accident prone
