I got Asphalt because all my other cars in the past were white. Also for 24 plus years my government job I drove cars that were all white!
IMHO choose a color that you want and F'k whatever anyone else thinks. Life's too short so just enjoy whatever YOU WANT!

Asphalt/DGM is best color.
Makes choosing wheels a pain though. Silver is too monotone, gunmetal and black are invisible. Gold would be good, but bronze is better. Most bronze wheels are matte and I want glossy. Fortunately, powdercoating is a thing. |

White is very low-profile. I guess the cops assume white cars are driven by people who cant get it out of second.
