What I've noticed recently is that at 5K the car almost lunges forward. That 3-4K interval is just awful. I need a tune asap

3 or 4 K interval? The "dip" lasts for about a tenth of a second if you are acclerating in the right gear for the speed you are doing. All the way up to 4 should be fine and after about 4500 is great.
Oh and the 17s have exactly the same dip.

Yes, you do need a tune ...... your gear selection and shift points needs to be "tuned" .......

you have to make sure your bit is the exact right size. Mine was smaller a bit and I hammered forever. With the right size it came out in a minute

Go to the home improvement store and buy the correct size punch (I found it online, maybe in an ft86sf video) it is worth every penny

Changed the Cabin intake Valve and replace handbrake nooooob

Changed the intake cabin valve for the RED TRD and change the handbrake nooooob for an ebay version - the thread whole was to long and had to stuff bits inside to make it shorter, what do you expect for an ebay $13.

I also changed the carbon fibre handbrake, looks much blinger.......

While I was changing the cabin Valve I managed to drop my pliers down the engine bay just above the header.........

had to jack the car up and get under the car and luckly reach through under the engine througth a gap and get them.......few

Also changed the intake filter for a K&N filter, I see what people mean about it being oily........maybe I can use some olive oil next time to clean it........hummmmm

I was gonna say you might have flared the end if you weren't using the right size.
Is your punch flat or slightly rounded?

Used two, one slighty rounded, one flat. both 2.5mm.

I think it was the temperature. Yesterday I was coming home at 5 pm when the car felt sluggish. It felt like 22 degrees outside. This morning it was about 10 degrees and the car felt like its normal zippy self.

That's your car telling you that you need a cold air intake... JK those are next to worthless on this car
