anyone else get 86 on extrenal temp gauge a lot?
So yes I am in southern california were it is usually nice and warm all year but I noticed that my external temp gauge is exactly 86 degrees quite a bit. My girlfriend and I have started joking that when they put that feature in if it was anywhere in the range of 83-89 degrees it would just say 86
![]() anyone else seem to notice it or am I generally only seeing it when it just so happens to be 86 degrees out? |

I sure hope I never see 86 on my temp gauge. It would be terribly uncomfortable.

Why would Toyota or Subaru go through the trouble of rounding the temperature gauge to 86 degrees at a certain temperature range simply because of the name of the car?
If it's 86 degrees outside, it's 86 degrees on the gauge. It may not be accurate anyway. |

Mine usually reads fairly accurately.
However, it rarely gets up to 86 degrees in these parts ..... ![]() humfrz |

Yep it would mean that the sun had flared and we are all going to die unless Will Smith can place the nuclear device on the moon and move it over to block the sun within the next 72 hours.

I would say that for the OP 86 is right about where he should be.
And LOL at the rain levels. We had more than their highest monthly average of rain on Sunday.

Quick and easy, get Trump to tweet 'fake gauge' and just watch the temperature drop as we go into the next ice age (read: Cold war). |
