Thumbs down My fr-s Winjet yellow fog light kit experience (Review)

Hey guys,
So back in may 26, 2015 i purchased the Winjet fog light kit in yellow, Unfortunately i didn't do an instal tutorial, but it was fairly easy, wired them using the fog light switch that comes with the kit. So today is January 18, and I noticed that Winjet makes crappy foglights, p.s. i also have their headlights on my car. SOOO i came to the realization that the way they make their foglights yellow, they apply a crappy thin yellow film under the clear plastic cover and seal it up. As you can see in the picture i provided, the film eventually starts peeling off and tearing INSIDE. It distorts the light somewhat and bugs the crap out of me I decided to email winjet even though their warranty is only 6 months to see maybe if they could at least exchange me just the fog lights themselves. No luck, ill let you guys read the emails exchanged. What i am going to do is, bake them open, remove the film, seal them back up and do a spray tint to the clear plastic. I will do a write up on that soon for anyone that is currently having the same issue as me, and for anyone that is interested in purchasing them, I would say do not buy the yellow ones. Get the clear and tint the yellow yourself. Also, the plastic bezel which comes shiny with the kit, looses its gloss within 3 months. It became very dull and ugly looking so i took them down to a local body shop and had them paint matched. Name: IMG_2189.JPG

They put a 6 month warranty on them because they know they are junk and will probably have issues within a year.. sucks.
