Taxes... the US has some of the lowest import duties on cars. So like in many asian countries you'll pay like a good 20-70% higher for the car than you would in the US.

I'm not sure how Toyota is selling the car in the US for 20% lower than in their domestic market. I guess it's just that the US is an important enough market for this car they don't want to tank it by over-pricing. They can't be making that much on this car here...

Can you post some pictures with 16" wheels.
We would like to see that.

Also, more importantly, some statistics on track using 16"

I'm sure taxes/duties/tarriffs are part of the reason for the higher price. For instance, we have a lot of customers in the UAE and other parts of the Middle East and every time I've talked to one of them they mention that the fees and stuff kill them when they import parts. I'm sure entire cars are taxed too.

What do you mean by rights to purchase?

What do you mean by rights to purchase?

To buy a car you need to buy a license to buy the car ($60K US) and if you sell the car and buy another, you have to play another $60K. So whatever car you are buying you have to add $60K on top of it.

If the price is high, why do you take a look at the mid model, it has a good features and cost 10k less, do you really want to pay 10k more to make it look like this ?

1- Colored grille and stripes!!

2- Rear bumper garnish

One other thing to consider is that toyota is selling this car for about 2.8 million yen in Japan. That works out to over $34,000 american or $36.82 in Canada

Added Canadian bacon pricing.
