Anyone removed this system or know what issues I might face?
I have not done this.

As frsjustin daid the antitheft is likely difficult to disable without standalone ecu.

But the keyless entry has a failsafe if battery on fob is flat, if you hold it next to start button car will. Start. So maybe just remove battery from fob and mount it next to start button. The poximity probably needs the battery in fob , and its likely
got an RF ID pasive chip in prox key that allows car to start. So should effectlivly not need a key any more.

Not tried this but may work for you

If it was the ABS or airbags I could see it but the antitheft stuff on this car is pretty massive
Thanks a lot, I'll try to get a hold of them.

I just tested a track car that's relying on that failsafe feature. Pretty cool, lots of car don't have that. The key had to be held against the button for it tonwork. Hey also had a light wired that lights up when the fob was detected, but he had a MoTec so passed on a lot of issues.
