if at all possible to avoid. DO NOT ever get hip surgery.

shit is hell. you use your hip to do everything. so basically I had a bone impingement that wore away at my labrum causing a tare. so they went in there(arthroscopy) to fix the tare. they also found some torn cartilage he had to repair. so instead of 1 week on crutches and maybe 3 month recovery. it's going to be 3 weeks and 6 months. fml.

worst part so far aside from the day of surgery and the next is this strain or something in my tailbone. any flexion back there and it feels like a knife is going into my tailbone. standing up, rolling over in bed and even sitting at my desk. brutal.

wish my luck fellas and broads. won't even be driving my car for at least a week. I'll find out how long at post op on friday.

dude the initial MRI suggested that I had avascular necrosis. aka, my femur was dying and I'd have to get it replaced. needless to say I was relieved to find out it was just a torn labrum.

that joint replacement is no joke
