2) is the resonator, this is the only possibility that I have if I want to build it in my way.
Cut the pipe and sleeve and clamp or weld it. Easy.

Mine almost looked like that more than once when I was messing with the six pack without a clue what I was doing (and no forums to ask).

Nameless do make axle back. They're decent...

They also make without a muffler

If you gonna do custom w res, you could do like me. Buy decently cheap catback w res and put different muffler & tip that you want.

So, if you pulled up next to a Chevrolet with dual exhaust ...... be prepared to get beat (yes, you too - Ford owners).

Example, here is a picture of my "built" stove bolt 6, installed in my 1948 Chevrolet coupe.

See ....... I was "stuck in the 50s" ........

Ah~ gotcha. I have mine single cuz of 3 reasons.
1. Feel pointless to have dual exhaust in 2 liter 4 cylinder engine... even it's symmetrical.
2. Like to shave few lbs from car... instead of my fat stomach lol
3. Just my preference.

The Nameless tip you see is a small? Not sure it helps, but the tip you see on my car is the Nameless tip. Exact same tip. I had the Nameless axleback, so used their tip when I was making the custom exhaust

3" pipe? Or 3" tip? Cuz tip you're seining is 4" tip. Ideal tip you want to fill the area is 4"~4.5"

Same construction, depends how they're used. They only exception is a Helmholtz as it doesn't have any sort of packing or baffles.
