Do those % take into account tyre stretch Jeff? If not id say the 35 would be just about spot on with stock since the 245 will stretch over the wider rim.

They do not take that into account. You are correct.

I probably wouldn't even run 40's, nevermind 45's.

Jeff
K cool thanks..you guys like 35's and I like 40 size..nothing wrong with that.

It depends on where you live too. I used to live in New Orleans. Man I had some low profile tires. New Orleans has some killer pot holes when it rains. I had some OZ superleggeras. saw a puddle in the road and didnt think it was that deep. Bam goodbye rim. Not sure if the size of the tire would have saved the wheel to be honest.

Yeah that'd be a bad situation. Whenever I need to replace the tires I'll see what good deals are out there. If 35's are on sale then I may go with 35's. I've always done 40's just for the fact they look just right for my style. 80% of my driving consists of driving to and from work so the tread will probably last for a long time.

There is some drag on the car due to the weight but where I live and where my work is I don't even go above 45mph so I don't notice the performance loss.

Thanks! The weight that I posted for each will was including a tire on it and not the wheel by itself. I think the OEM wheel is about 20 LBS and the Rota's i have are about 21-23lbs per wheel alone.

Have you lowered the car yet? I'm curious to see if you have any rubbing issues in the front at full lock.

Not yet. I'll probably have it lowered by September if not earlier. I'm saving up for coilovers

wouldn't it be nearly identical to what's in this thread? that's only 3mm more out. Less than 1/8". But the look and feel etc is going to depend on your tire in the end

Wheels:
Front -18x8.5 +44
Rear - 18x9.5 +38
Tires:
Front - 225/40/18
Rear - 245/40/18

After:
before drop-

after drop-

And one from the Scion FR-S Test Drive event in Houston:

And one from a photo shoot yesterday:
