Yeah, I did the same thing on my Golf R and it worked great.

Tried it on my BRZ not so good. I finally got all of the sticker removed, but it was a slow process. There is still a shiny area where the sticker used to be, and the vinyl took a beating.

The adhesive used by Subaru is definitely tougher to remove than the VW adhesive.

I'm not sure its an adhesive so much as printed onto the visor

-UPDATE-

Found a company online called Streamline Design. I ordered BLACK MATTE in size 4.5" x 3.75". Nice product, exacting size for my 16' BRZ visor. BE VERY CAREFUL when applying as is it very easy to get bubbles that are hard to get out. The one side came out perfectly, the other side has a few bubbles I'm working on.

NO, I'm not affiliated with them, just want to pass it on.

To order click here and type: "MATTE BLACK" in the custom text line 1 box, then type "4.5 x 3.75" in the second custom text 2 line. http://www.streamlinedesign.com/viso...phics-gm-pair/

2 custom visor covers bout $16.00 shipped.

Someone should just put a vinyl sign on the visor that would read "MOVE" and "OVER" in someone's rear view mirror.

Dual purpose! Hides the the ugly ass sticker and tells slow drivers to move it.

Kind of related, where can I order sun-visors that have the mirror light?

The car looks pretty good without the visor, but then you wouldn't have one. I like the warning labels, i even added one to the driver side visor, i removed the passenger visor entirely though.

Love that sticker. It gives a factory look even though it clearly states the vehicle is modified.
