I have considered Subaru on the front, Scion and the back and change the FRS to the 86 (I know that the North American ones are not badged 86). Decided against it because it is already hard enough explaining what the hell the car is to people.

If it was me, I would have the emblem shaved for a cleaner look.

follow up question--if i were to decide to rebadge, i would like to be 100%. aside from the front, rear, steering wheel (airbag) and center cap badges/emblems, are there other badges i need to replace/remove?

I would just stick with the Subaru emblem in that case.

if i were to go through the trouble of replacing the front bumper anyway, i figured why not. but these are all hypothetical since i have yet to decide if i do want to replace the front bumper. i'll stick to what i have for now... maybe. lol on people's issue on rebadging, i dont really see it as an issue on brand loyalty (for my self at least). i just see the car mainly as 1 car, the 86, which was released by 2 companies, toyota/scion and subaru. the 86 being based off of the toyota trueno/corolla '86, i feel using the toyota emblem is just a tribute to its origin and has nothing really to do with the brand. but that's just me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Why buy the BRZ if you're gonna change the bumper and rebadge everything...? Especially now that the Toyota 86 is out with all the features a BRZ Limited had over a FRS.

which is well overpriced IMO. one can get the 2017 brz limited w/ pp for about the same price as a 2017 86 base model. at least based on my local dealers' prices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

because not all of us have the luxury to buy a new car just cause toyota decided to step up their game. plus, the price tag is ridiculous. and i dont even like the 86 front bumper. worst of the 4 stock bumpers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by MachineHead; 05-02-2017 at 06:01 PM. |

But buying a used car still takes a significant amount of money, why spend money on a BRZ when you really want the 86? Just wait a few more months and you'd find them out there used. Meh, maybe its just me. I always hate myself if I end up "compromising" with myself for a purchase. |
