I'll be debadging the letters off my BRZ and replacing the blue badges with Cherry Blossom Pleiades a la JDM STi products.

But maybe I'll put a Scion badge on the front leave the Subaru badge on the back and put Toyota badges on the wheels and Tack on FR-S ahead of the BRZ and GT86 aft on the back. It'll be a Sciyobaru FB/RSZ86 GT.

Oh god this is such a stupid argument on both sides. And just for the record, Toyota owns a stake in Subaru. It does not own Subaru, but along that line of argument.

Fiat> Ferrari and Maserati
VW> Lamborghini and Porsche

I support your idea! I also made a thread about rebadging a whiteout BRZ. I was thinking outside the box and thinking of doing something totally different. I'm thinking of slapping a Trueno hood badge. Putting red Toyota letters on trunk sold by (grazio), gt86 on trunk or instead a toyota sport emblem on trunk and gt86 pistons on side fenders. Sounds crazy but in my head and photoshop it looks retro and cool.

For all the people bagging on the OP - some of you are lying to yourselves if the thought has NEVER crossed your mind. I decided it was a bit much to spend money to rebadge my car - mainly just because I actually bought a subaru. In the end people who know about the cars know they are pretty much the same minus trim levels and when I see a fr-s or a brz all I really see is a gt86 anyway.

I'm not ashamed to admit it briefly crossed my mind before I cried myself to sleep.

Saved myself like 100 bucks on emblems though!

I must admit, that if I could have gotten a "GT-86" badged car here in the states with the same trim level as my BRZ Limited, I would have gone that way.

So I will admit that I have considered a rebadge...briefly.

I can see people re-badge for scion to toyota. But subaru to Toyota? Why? I agree with others and just make your own brand then.

I have the blacked out toyota emblem and from a non ownership POV i think it looks the best of any badge. That said please dont do it unless u take off the subaru and the brz badges on the back lol. or be really creative and make it say Toyobaru
