Any adverse TC issues when removing a seat?

I already have an aftermarket driver's seat and I use the resistor trick to keep the airbag light from coming on. I would like to remove the passenger seat for this weekend and I'm not sure how to deal with the in-dash airbag. I thought I read that the ECU will do weird things to traction control regardless of whether or not you do the 5 second disable when it is not able to properly account for the airbags?

My TC acted no different when I put in my aftermarket seat and did not put any resistors in FWIW
