Am considering a motorcycle again. Will do it proper and get a childs bike (125-300cc) since I've proven to myself I am not responsible enough to ride something that will hit 162 in second gear and 240 when I have some open road. Really digging the Honda Grom, but that eliminates basically any road with a speed limit of 80+, which won't work when I want to go to the cottage, so a 250 or 300 seems to be the ideal.
Gotta get my damn license again, and convince the old man to be the primary rider, so instead of paying 12000 (yes, not a typo, twelve thousand) per year, I pay 600 per year. This way, I only need to feel bad about my mom crying every time I go out on the bike, and not feeling bad about my mom crying and being broke as fuck at the same time. I'll also probably wear proper protective clothing 99% of the time I'm on the bike, instead of slim jeans, tennis shoes, a wife beater and carbon knuckle gloves. Wait, I was that douchey 20 year old, wasn't I? |
