Also the OEM tail lights suffer from the same issues so it's not really an excuse to avoid aftermarket ones. It's more about the luck of the draw and how carefully they are installed. For all I know, my bodyshop overtightened the bolts on the back of the light when they reinstalled it, but I can't prove anything.

aren't they fairly simple to install on your own? they should be plug and play, no?

Yes, I installed them myself. However the body shop took one out to pop the body out and then put it back in themselves.

So with clear TOMS having issues still, does anyone have a good recommendation of tail lights to get to go with a DGM color? I think clear TOMs look the best on DGM, but have no idea what other tail lights out there also go well with DGM. I appreciate the help!

So I had to deal with the leaky light. Got that fixed with the ninja gaskets.

Now I come to find my tailight melted. Never had so many problems before. I have the red usdm Toms too. So the problem is not only specific to the clears.
