It's pretty simple, I just need to find time to get a lamp socket and bulb mounted, add one of these: http://www.flashingbrakelights.com/ and then tap it into the existing brake lights...

I am sorry everyone, but I am about to sound so stupid. I thought fog lights are supposed to be in front of the car. I am a little confused right now.. I do not really know as much about cars as I wish I did, and I wanna learn anyways. Maybe I should change my signature a little lol

There are rear-fog lights everywhere except for NA, and it's a set standard like in EU.

Some cars come with them when shipped here to NA like range rovers.

Rear Fogs in Aus

Many Euro cars and Hyundai have rear fog lights in Aus.

Cops will certainly book you if you ever have them on at any time except in heavy fog.

In the US the third brake light needs to be at a certain height.

Over here you are not allowed to turn them on unless visibility is less than 100 metres and you may not drive faster than 50 kph when they are activated.

I have only used mine once or twice in 6 years.

you activate the rear fog lights when there is fog or really heavy rain/snow
its so that the person comming behind you does not smack into you if you are driving slow.

rule is to only use it when fog/heavy rain/snowstorm.
and also only the car att the rear drives with their rear foglight on.
so if you catch upp to 5 cars driving behind eachother. the car that you catch up turns his rear foghlights off.

you get ticketed if you drive with rear foglights and you have a car behind you. you get like max 1 min to turn them off when a car catches up to you. then its the car thats last keeps their on.

also if you change the bulb and make it weaker then you can use it as a break light i guess but it should not be stronger then your normal breaklights.

greetings from across the pond. SWEDEN
