Yes, STX. I've run Tein SRC the last two years with some success, but need to make some changes... and think they're slightly less well suited to the direction I'll be trying. So, time for a swap. Same reason I'm doing the alignments - I (theoretically) want to be able to do small tweaks between events based on data. Or big tweaks...

If nothing else, I have a codriver for one club this season - my goal is to put him in the top 5 on PAX (tough for an STX car) and be competitive with his times by the end of the year. He was 13th last year (I was 19th) so... goals. Should be an interesting season.

Is there a tire limitation for the class? What kind of data do you collect besides lap times? Best of luck with your season! Do you have a thread to follow your changes/observations that kind of stuff?

Yeah, 200tw on the tires, wider than fit properly (265 max?) and all sorts of fun stuff. No thread, but enough people have asked I'll be starting to collect notes/data on a website soonish.

Data collection includes Harry's laptimer, tire pressure gauge and pyrometer, and the finely tuned butt-dyno...

It would be great to follow your progress in hopes for understanding more about suspension setup and tuning. What tires and wheels will you be running?

I hear ya there. I was driving a Maxima last year when the "Goliath Hail" in Wylie demolished it... but that's the catalyst that got me on the road to my new 86! So, it wasn't all bad. Best of luck to you. How did the house make it out?

Well, some good came out of it then!

House is fine. Even my daughter's playhouse in the backyard didn't get hurt (besides getting marked up) and it has thin wood for a roof. Shed is fine too.

So i'm assuming that the main house is fine since the roof has way way thicker wood than my shed or playhouse. And I can't visually see anything wrong
