Mine started doing this just this weekend. Didn't do it before. It's loud enough for my passenger to notice it.
I assumed it was a leaf or something in there, but there's no trees in my yard or near my parking lot. I dunno. One of those "wait and see" things. |

The same thing can happen with motor brushes. When that happens the brush can get a little noisy until the snag breaks free.
