Light Weight Low Offset wheels
Hi,
I'm looking for a set of lightweight wheels with a low offset. I drive a GT86 with Rocket Bunny V1 Kit and actually mounted SSR Professor SP1 in 9.5x18 -3 and 10.5x18 -26 (functional setup for track) They fit perfectly without spacers needed and for a threepiece wheel, they are light (10.6 kg / 23.4 lbs). But I thought about to change to 17" and a square setup so I'm looking for a set of 9.5x17 or 10x17 ET 0 to -30 with 265/40 17 Any ideas? I searched for long time, but can't find anything. ![]() There are Watanabe in 17" I know about. 9.5x17 -19 all around and 9 kg (19,8 lbs) per wheel, so quite perfect! But that offset is too low for the front with 265/40 tires... So any other wheels known? Thx guys! |

I'm not in tune with rocket bunny fitment but I find it hard to believe you will be able to go with a square set up and have it work without either the front or tears looking off. I would expect you will either rub in the front or sunk in the rear.

A little spacer (little!) at the rear would be ok.
But yes, that's the problem and why it's so difficult to find wheels. In case of the Watanabe -19 in the front would be too aggressive and in the rear I would need 15mm spacer |

I can't help you unfortunately, but could you post a few photos of your car with the SSRs, please?

TE37V 17x9.5 upwards to 10.5" all around, and add 500>514 bolt on adapter spacers is your only choice.
But if you go the bolt-on spacer route, you can run almost any type of wheel out there. Alternatively, you can run something like Work Meister S1R that allows you to customize your offset with 5-100 bolt pattern. -alex |
