FBM stage 1 built block questions

Aside from e-mailing them and hearing a response that I won't see in the next life-time, does anyone with a previously purchased FBM stage 1 block know what all it entails? Trying to figure out what all engine upgrades I'm going to need to make alongside the turbo purchase. I figured the short block would fulfill everything I need but I'm trying to cover all bases before shot gunning the purchase

Everything done to the fbm blocks are listed in the description right below where you buy them...
Quote:
-FBM Custom 1000hp Connecting Rods
-Arias Heavy Duty Pistons with upgrade wrist pin and rings
-New OEM beaings, sized to FBM Spec
-Fully Balanced, Blueprint, Machined to FBM Specs
-Clean and thoroughly inpsected
Start by going to the FI section and reading the buyers guide and stickies. As you read through you will find many threads answering the 'what supporting modifications are needed' for each individual kit and power goals.

How much power are you planning to make? For most street applications, the stock block will suffice

450 wheel is the absolute most. I'm thinking more of like 400. With that power I know I'll need new/forged internals just wanting to make sure the block is going to hold its own

Should probably do some research on transmission options/routes too at that power level. Interested to see your build play out

The only other thing I would suggest looking into is Valve Springs, they can be a weak point.

Im having my shortblock installed by them as we speak (local guy), and figured they may as well put some springs in. You may only want 400whp now (I was at about 350 - 370whp all last summer, with stock internals) but that may become "boring" after awhile.

I'll be getting a tune to put me at roughly 450whp. Tranny has being holding up just fine so far and dont plan on doing anything with it till something happens.

Also depends on what gas you plan on running... 93octane you'll want to stick with lower comp, but on e85 you want higher comp.

I exclusively run e85 so I stuck with 12.5:1 pistons, but I also have a flexfuel kit on the off chance I have to switch to 93.
