Headlight/tail light swaps look cool. Just makes the future for the FRS/BRZ better, 20+ years from now, when folks need headlights/tail light replacements, you can have more options at the junkyards, etc.

$360, not so bad....
I know cosmetic-wise it looks superb, but are LEDs actually functional as foglights in foggy conditions?...

I've always thought foglights need to be a certain colour temperature to acutally be useful. HIDs; I can imagine, are an exception because of the output it produces. Please and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

maybe it's just me, but why not just get the FR-S bumper and put it on a BRZ?

Cuz that'll put 4 turn signals & will be missing DRL

the BRZ has so much more value and with Scion's fix price you can probably get it cheaper than the FRS.
This violates all logic.

Thread after thread people talk about how Subaru is doing mark up's of 3k and 5k on top of a car that's already more expensive than the FRS, and for what? A push button start and nav? Also, Subaru has announced that people who order cars now can expect delivery in mid 2013. I don't see Subaru selling a BRZ below MSRP, even to our college grads, even to our veterans, like Scion does.

I think "So much more value" is an inaccurate statement, especially Subaru's sales track record with these cars.

I think it would be pretty cool if we can use the brz head light turn signal and somehow rewire / convert the turn signal in the lower bumper of the FRS into fog lights or something else lol makes more sense

I think that's correct. Besides, I've always thought that fog light mods were just a big waste of money anyway.

If we start bugging Scion's Facebook and email with requests, eventually they will listen.
We should all demand Scion to offer the JDM 86's HID headlights AT LEAST as an option. Standard equipment would raise the base price, but we should at least be able to check this box as an option though...

If not, I'm better off to purchase a BRZ and just swap front bumpers out for the Toyota's if I am wanting the look of the Toyota.

Besides, the approach of Scion has generally been the offering of one trim level for each model, with the main options only being the transmissions with little options like the rear bumper protector or whatever that can easily be added on after it leaves the assembly line. Having HIDs as an option is going to be a more significant change.
HIDS should have been standard on the FR-S....the BRZ premium has HIDS and real Navigation for only $1300 more...just saying...

But upgrading them is usually just people trying to be fancy when they don't even really need factory fogs, let alone upgraded ones.
