Oh, and either I'd drive the whole way or not drive at all. I wouldn't trust leaving my car at a parking lot.
Two hours driving is rough. The nice thing about the train is I can just sleep in the mornings and basically get an extra hour of sleep.

Man, you bring up a good point. But parking in DTSF is super expensive and even then I don't know if I'd trust people at a lot there. :\

My intervals are every 15k (or 12 months now since the FR-S isn't the DD anymore). I'm using Amsoil oil and oil filters (been doing so since the first Yaris). I've never done any UOA's either, but the first Yaris was running like it did since day 1 when I traded it in with 108k miles.

I don't really have a choice since driving is really the only way to get to work for me (no trains around).

Ah, good point. I say don't drive at all and just public transport to work. Save yourself of worrying and headaches from parking in tight SF spots.

I keep having these recurring dreams (nightmares?) that I'm at the Subaru dealer attempting to trade in my 2013 FR-S for a 2017 BRZ with performance package.

It might initially seem like a good deal since I only have 19k miles and could probably get a high trade in value, but what about all my mods...

Then I wake up, happy and relieved that I'm not getting rid of my car. 2013 for life!

I don't always drink green tea on early morning canyon carving sessions, but when I do, I drink ice cold unsweetened Ito En Oi Ocha BOLD GREEN.

Seriously if you guys like green tea you gotta try this stuff.

Interesting article about boxer engines popped up randomly off MSN:
http://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/enthu...ine/ar-AAmZex6

Twins even get a mention:

"All Subaru vehicles, minus the BRZ, employ symmetrical all-wheel drive, which pairs remarkably well with the boxer engine setup. The Scion FR-S is essentially the same car as the Subaru BRZ. The vehicle was a joint effort between Subaru and Toyota, and utilizes a boxer engine. Toyota has since eliminated the Scion brand, but the FR-S lives on in the 2017 Toyota 86, which is also equipped with a boxer engine."
