Click "readme" on my sig. go to Repair Manual>engine/hybrid system>fa20 emission control>purge valve> components.

See how that plumbing goes right under your intake manifold. Verify that it was not broken or left disconnected when you installed your blower.

Don't remember how the sprintex covers it. just spend some quality time between the picture and looking around in there. It'll make sense.

I'm winging it with respect to evap system components physically close to where the latest work has been done. That's the area where I would look first. There are many other components but try the low hanging fruit first.

I just took a look in the dark with a flashlight and don't see anything unplugged. I will inspect in daylight tomorrow and report back.

Is it worth unplugging the battery to see if the code stays away? as I had the fuel leak fixed not that long ago.

I also have the Perrin CAI, not sure if this would affect this.

This is strictly the evap system so, no, nothing to do with the CAI.

It'd be better to get one of those bluetooth elm32 goddammits so you can read/clear the codes on the fly. Unless you find and fix something specific, like tighten a loose hose, there's no point in disconnecting the ecu.

...but I sympathize with the desire to try it.

Battery reset cleared the CEL, but after a few drives it has now returned! I will contact my shop as the install is still under warranty.

Found out through my tuner that my skunk2 4bar map sensor has malfunctioned.
Sure enough, bought a new one and all is working fantastic.
So if you ever have starting issues or your car run likes crap for a few minutes
and you're boosted, change your map sensor.

So low and behold like 10k miles after taking the car in under warranty and having subaru tighten that lock ring, my check engine light is back, and a few times I've noticed incredibly sluggish performance (which I'm assuming is limp mode). Also, my car isn't boosted, but I have reason to believe that the owner before me did (bumper fitment issues, lack of engine bay triangulation bars, and these issues). So my question is: is this purely to blame on the MAP sensor, or is this a combination of the lock ring and MAP sensor?

Did you ever find out what caused your CEL? I'm currently getting the same code with the Sprintex SC kit installed just a few days ago. Retraced all hoses, everything looks good. About to check the lock ring which could have coincidentally failed??
