I'm very happy with it. Everyone has different tolerance levels to exhaust loudness, and personally I like loud exhausts but not when they're drone city like the N1 was. I was going to go for the Q300 but I heard that it's basically as quiet as stock and I hated how quiet the stock exhaust was. After a few years I may feel differently but who knows.

I honestly can't believe how perfect it sounds. When off the throttle and in low rpm it's quiet and refined, but when you put your foot down it wakes up like a wild animal and sounds aggressive as hell. Smooth, burblely sound all the way through the range and it has no unwanted drone whatsoever. With these upgrades and the tune the car feels much more lively and responsive, not necessarily faster but you really feel the torque. Of course, this is the first day I've had the car like this so I'm probably a little emotionally biased about it.

Total cost for parts install and tune was $1,033. Worth every penny. That means that if you buy the exact same parts I have then you will spend over 2 grand on this one project so think it over.
That price looks fine to me and as per your words it worth what it worth. So waiting for the videos to see how good it sounds and maybe will be two of us having the same config. You're talking about tune up the car, did the people who install the parts does this part or ..... ? I mean I need to find the right place here in South Florida and not all the people do the right job, again if anyone on this area has a recommendation is more than welcome.

The place I brought it to did all the installs and the tune as well. They are independent of any of the places I bought my parts from, as most are. I'm sure you'll be able to find plenty of places in Florida but the best way to find them is join a Florida86 facebook group and ask people on there. Or just search "South Florida tuning shops" be careful thought as it's hard to tell the good ones from the bad ones on google. There's also a southeast section in the Regional Forums so I would start by asking around on there.

Top Speed EL catless header, catless dual resonated front pipe. Q300 exhaust. I was going for quiet and at idle and freeway driving it's quieter than stock. But step on the gas and it comes to life. I have a couple crummy sound clips on my Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/Lunatic-Rac...5620119162747/

For tuning (ecutek), I recommend HRI tuning (James Martin) in Orlando. He remote tuned my car and it's running great, plus the customer support throughout the process was A1. I installed myself but I've heard "KAB Customs" thrown around a lot among soflo ft86. Circuit motorsports in Orlando does install and dyno tune for 86.

This one sound like the stock one plus a add a small extra loud but I like my car sound aggressive even if it's not a muscle car at all. So I'll wait for @silverCervy video and see how it cars sound.

Anyway thanks everyone it's been a great feedback from all of you guys

A bit of elaboration would be helpful..

What is so different with an aftermarket system if same diameter piping is considered. Or is the sizing different?

If question has been thoroughly answered please be so kind to point me to it.

I don't want invest in any four banger fart cans or noise makers.
Don't have the money to waste on that nonsense.

I don't blame you. A good header with tune will make a big difference, even catted. Stock gutted header won't match it. The noise level will be determined by what you change after the header.

Disable the cel via the tune. It will then pass a readiness inspection.

Assuming you are staying NA or going SC (not Turbo):

Intake: Grimmspeed CAI
Header/Overpipe: ACE 350
Front Pipe: JDL Ultra Quiet
Exhaust: Perrin 2.5" Resonated
