Bridgestone Potenza RE71R and they are insane and amazing. Highly recommended.

Just switched to them after finally burning off the stockers in 35K miles, and I dunno why I didn't just do it sooner. They really are that good ![]() ONLY downside I've found is they're definitely louder than the stockers, but I have a catback that drowns it out. Any high performance tire is going to make more road noise though, so it's a moot issue. |

Haha, RE71Rs have a distinct howl to them as well!

Yeah for real! Even the RE11A's that preceded the RE71R's had a noticeable whirring noise. Pilot Super Sports make effectively no noise compared to the grippier tires available for street use... and the noise (that I honestly never noticed, even when they were my FIRST mod) is little-to-nothing compared to the immense driving pleasure that they facilitate.
OP let us know what you end up mounting, I think a lot of us would be curious about what your choice and impressions, of said choice, are. @Flame9020

OP do not get Bridgestone Re71r's. Yes they are an amazing tire, but a complete waste for daily driving. And you will be pissed when you need new tires in less than 10k miles. I have a set specifically for autoX that I swap on the day of, then take them off that night.
I currently have MPSS as my daily. They are great, no complaints what so ever. Great in the dry and even better in the Rain. However; I will be switching to Bridgestone SO4-PP's for my next daily tire. 80% of the performance for the Micheline's for a much better price. |
