I am currently on the stage 2 UEL E85 tune. Is it safe to reprogram TPMS light at the tire shop when I switch between my sets of tires? Or will this mess up my tune somehow? I'm told the only way to reset the light is to bring it to the shop and have them pair the tpms system. I have TPMS on both sets of wheels and tires I own. I searched extensively on google and the forums and couldn't find anything... thanks in advance for the help.

If the reprogramming of the TPMS is via the wheel senors & scan tool (which plugs into the wheel valve stem), it should not affect the tune.

I have successfully programmed my TPMS codes myself with an OFT tune using the Carista App on my Phone using an OBD2 adapter. http://www.caristaapp.com

The shop will do it for free for me since I purchased my tires through them. Thanks for the heads up on the app though!

Had a new CEL pop up today that I have not run into before, wondering how big of an issue it is.

Code is P0138. The car has been sitting for about a week now, and when I started it up, the code popped up. The car has a catless UEL header, tuned on an OTS 91 Stg 2 map.

I haven't seen a whole lot of info about it, so I'm wondering if it's an ok code to disable?

If you're still running the 2nd sensor it may have gone faulty. I would just confirm what's said in the link. It could impact running even if the CEL is disabled.

Thanks.

I'll do a log today, and check on it.

Yes +1 on what kode said

that code is not normal

https://www.engine-codes.com/p0138_subaru.html

oft logs rear 02 sensor as Widebamd 02, its not calobrated correctly but it should show some movement on that channel, however some roms the ram address is incorrect i think B01C is ok but later roms like D00C may not log correctly.

front 02 is logged as afr.

i think the oft can also log o2 sensor volts directly not sure if it can do front and rear o2 volts

its possible that code may be caused by exhaust leak or loose sensor as well as damaged sensor.

if you have techstream it would be usefull

So apparently I got my OFT stolen and currently running an E85 tune. Is there anyway to get another brand new OFT to pair up to my car and get it tuned to 91?

If you get aonther new or unmarried oft it will marry up to your car ok. But your stock\original tune will be your E85 tune, but you will be able to flash any tune you like to car even real stock tune.

The downside will be that if you ever unmarry oft you car will go back to the E85 tune, the oft originally married to.

Alternative in this case maybe to buy tactrix cable instead and flash whatever tune you want. or if you know somone with tactrix cable who can flash you to stock before you marry up new oft

You should be able to reflash the stock tune back on. I think there was a fix for people with flashes that went bad

You can also try asking to update your ecu at your local dealer. Then you have a stockrom.
